It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Katharine M. Vezina, 67, of Jamestown, NY, on July 20, 2026. Born on October 29, 1958, in Jamestown, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Delores Bull.
Katharine graduated from Jamestown High School and earned bachelor's degrees in Business and History after attending JCC, SUNY Fredonia, and JBC. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, quilting with her sister Jeanne, and especially loved her dog, Mia.
Though she had no children of her own, Katharine was a devoted motherly and grandmotherly figure to her niece, Delores and Delores' daughters, Jorden and Erica Myers. She also cherished the time she spent with all of her nieces and nephews and treasured every family gathering.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Edwin Wells and Richard Vezina, and her brothers, Michael and Mark Bull.
Katharine is survived by her sister, Jeanne Bull Johnson; many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and all who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
Arrangements entrusted to Riccardi's Hubert Funeral Home.
Inurnment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Chautauqua Humane Society in Katharine's memory.
