John W. “Jack” Harle

1946-2026

John W. “Jack” Harle, 80, of Falconer, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2026 at home.

He was born on June 15, 1946 in Jamestown, a son of the late John E. and Irene M. Babyak Harle.

Jack was a 1965 graduate of Frewsburg Central School.

He was a proud veteran of the US Army serving during the Vietnam War.

Prior to retirement, he was employed at the former Vac-Air Alloys (later Keywell Corp) for many years.

He was a member of the War Vets where he had served as vice-president.

He was an avid Major League Base ball fan, especially the New York Mets and also was a fan of the Buffalo Bills, enjoyed music, and playing sudoku.

Jack is survived by his son Jason (Tarin) Harle; his daughter Kathlyn (Kea) Ramey; two grandchildren, John Ryan and Josh Reuter; two great-grandchildren, Riley and Rory Reuter; his beloved friend, Becky Seekings; and his cat, “Cleo.”

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Porter.

A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, July 9, 2026 in Lake View Cemetery, Jamestown (Veteran’s Grove Section).
