John Page Sr., 77, of Jamestown, New York, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
John was born on September 8, 1948. He proudly served his country in the United States military during the Vietnam War, where he was awarded the Purple Heart for his bravery and sacrifice. After returning home, he dedicated 42 years of hard work to Valeo where he retired, earning the respect of everyone who knew him through his strong work ethic and unwavering commitment.
In 2025, John lost the love of his life, his wife, Judy, whom he married in 1973, and missed dearly. Though they are now reunited, their love and legacy continue to live on through their family.
John is survived by his children, Wallace Page(Kristine Page), John Page Jr., Amanda Carlson (William Carlson) and Rene Page; his beloved grandchildren, Brooke Carlson, Rita Barrett, Ty Page, Erin Page, and Drew Carlson; and his treasured great-grandchildren, Noah, Marleigh, Ashton, and Sienna. He is also survived by his two sisters, Val Olmstead and Nancy Wedemeyer. He is proceeded in death by his father, Herman Page and his mother, Carol Swanson Page.
To those who knew him best, John will be remembered not only as a hardworking man, but as someone with an incredibly kind and generous heart. He never hesitated to help others and always made those around him feel welcome. He had a special bond with his grandchildren and found endless joy in making them laugh.
John enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved spending time on his computer, watching Star Wars and Ghost Adventures, and never turned down a handful of Chex Mix. These little joys, combined with his sense of humor and caring nature, made him unforgettable to everyone fortunate enough to know him.
John's courage, kindness, and unconditional love will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
May he rest in peace, reunited with Judy, and forever remembered with love.
Celebration of life will be held Sunday August 9th. Time and location will be shared by family.
