John J. Giaimo, 88, of Jamestown, died Monday July 13, 2026, in Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing.
A native of Jamestown, he was born January 24, 1938, a son of the late Samuel and Bertha Bush Giaimo.
Prior to his retirement he was employed by Jamestown Powder Coating as a sprayer.
Surviving are his children John Giaimo of Breakabeen NY, Jeff (Joann) Giaimo of Cobleskill NY, Chuck (Dawn) Giaimo of Schenectady NY, Samuel (Julie) Giaimo of Cassadaga, Dawn Marie Giaimo of Jamestown and Timothy Giaimo of Jamestown; as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he cherished.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Giaimo & Bertha Bush and stepmother, Josephine Giaimo; his sister, Mary Ann Giaimo Arnone and brother in law, Charles "Bert" Arnone.
In keeping with John's wishes no funeral service will be observed. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
