Irene Hogenboom

Born in West Glenville, NY in 1931, she was a graduate of Scotia High School and Spencer Business School.

She worked for 3M until she married Rev Kermit Hogenboom in 1963. She was later employed by Chautauqua County Department of Social Services from 1978 until 1985.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Jamestown and Abbe Reformed Churches, and had been active in TOPS and Mozart Club.

She is survived by her sister, Lillian Paige, her daughter, Laurel (Arthur) Buettner, her son, Timothy (Jennifer) Hogenboom, and her daughter, Janice Hogenboom, as well as three grandchildren, and 10 nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two brothers, James and Thomas Krutz.

The funeral will be held at 11 am Monday, July 6, in Bellinger Chapel of First Presbyterian Church, Jamestown, NY.

Friends will be received in fellowship hall of the church for one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be in Holland Cemetery, Clymer.
