Hazel A. Dunderdale

She was born in Warren on June 13, 1932, a daughter to the late Gerald and Audrey (Broughton) Miller. Hazel enjoyed handiwork and needlepoint, playing Bridge, golfing and was an avid down hill skier. She was a member of the LPGA Amateur Golf Association and was an Officer on the Board of Governors for the Tri County Golf Association. Hazel won the Conneaut Lake Golf Invitational 5 times and also competed in the Women’s Ohio Amateur Golf Championship several times.

She is survived by her sisters, Dorothy Curtis of Sugar Grove, PA, Geraldine Summerson of Sugar Grove, PA and Marilyn (Matt) Mellott of McConnellsburg, PA, her nieces and nephews, Jay (Julie) Curtis, Marianne Farina, James (Sara) Blevins, Dart (Mary) Summerson, Kim (Dan) MacIvor, Cory (Lori) Summerson, Melanie (Doyle) Haskins and John Dunderdale and her sister-in-law, Barbara Dunderdale as well as many great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, James Dunderdale, her brother-in-laws, John Dunderdale, Bud Curtis and Guy Summerson and a nephew, Todd Curtis.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Burial will take place in Sunset Hill Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
