Elsie G. Boyd

A Jamestown native, she was born November 10, 1938, a daughter of the late John and Anna Lundine Paulson, and was a 1956 graduate of Jamestown High School.

She was a secretary for the Chautauqua County Probation Dept., retiring as head of the secretarial pool. Elsie loved gardening and enjoyed participating in home garden tours.

Surviving are two sons: Daniel “Dan” Boyd and Leland “Lee” (Kathryn) Boyd, both of Jamestown; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Nancy Pefferly of Cleveland, OH.

Along with her parents, Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, Dale J. “Jim” Boyd whom she married July 25, 1958 and who died January 25, 2018.

A private family service will be held at Sunset Hill Cemetery. Visitation will not be observed.
