Douglas Alan Woollett, 70, of Ripley, New York, passed away on Monday July 13, 2026 at the Erie VA Medical Center.

He was born on December 6, 1955 in Jamestown, New York to Thomas and Betty (Becker) Woollett.

Douglas was a veteran serving in the United States Marine Corps.

He worked on several grape farms in the area and was a member of the Dansville Fire Department.

Douglas is survived by his parents; sons, Daniel Skinner (Mindi), Shawn Woollett (Heidi), and Nathan Woollett (Jackie); daughter, Michele Woollett; sisters, Debbie Young (Brian) and Sheree Wohlfeler; brothers, Steve Woollett (Dottie) and Terry Woollett; and 14 grandchildren.

Friends and family may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake St., North East on Saturday July 25 from 4:00 p.m. until time of a Military Service at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
