Dawn L. Gustafson

She passed away at her home on Wednesday July 15, 2026 after a long battle with cancer.

Dawn attended Bemus Point Central School and graduated from Maple Grove High School in 1971.

She was an avid New York Yankees Fan, and her favorite football player was John Riggins of the Washington Redskins.

She enjoyed scratching lottery tickets and watching television, especially Walker, Texas Ranger, Crime Investigation Shows, and Classic Westerns.

Dawn is survived by her beloved dog, Ollie, four children; Randi Thomas, Jessica Solinger, Steven “Fred” Solinger of Jamestown, Stacey (Nick) Ryan of Missouri, six grandchildren, Norman “Matthew” Thomas, Trever Thomas, Skyleigh Debo, Summer Debo, Morgan Ryan and Nolan Ryan, one great- grandson, Owen Thomas; two siblings, Judy Darling and Donald Gustafson, both of Jamestown, as well as many cousins and dear friends.

In keeping with Dawns wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services.

Memorial donations may be made to the Chautauqua County Humane Society.
