Bruce A. Carr, 65, of Maple Street, Jamestown, passed away with his wife by his side on Friday (July 17, 2026) at UPMC Hamot. He was born June 2, 1961, in Jamestown, the son of B. Neil and Joanne (Taylor) Carr. He attended Randolph Central School. Following High School, Bruce moved to Florida but eventually came back to the area where he worked for C&W Services for over 12 years. Bruce was an avid NY Yankees Fan, he enjoyed skiing, golfing, fishing, and frisbee golf. He also loved his dogs. He was a member of the Jamestown Eagles Club # 2145.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta (Missi) Carr of Jamestown, his mother, Joanne Taylor Carr of Randolph, two brothers, Steven M. Carr of Randolph and Dale W. Carr of Randolph, a sister; Amy S. Hill of Randolph, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Bruce was preceded in death by his father, B. Neil Carr and his brother, Gary Carr.
A funeral service will be held on August 15, 2026 at 11:00 am from the Randolph Grace Episcopal Church, 21 Washington Street. Rev. Colleen O'Conner will officiate. A time of fellowship will follow the service in the fellowship hall of the church. Burial will be in the Randolph Cemetery.
