William “Bill” Pike

1957-2026

William “Bill” Pike, 69, of Wattsburg, PA, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026, at St. Vincent, Erie, PA.

He was born on February 28, 1957, in Jamestown, PA, a son of the late Oliver and Vearl (Mason) Pike.

Bill was raised and educated in the Jamestown area and then he attended Bocce’s Technical School to become a mechanic. He drove truck for Tri-James for many years while also doing his own maintenance work on his Tri-Axel and for his personal vehicles. Bill then worked for Fairbanks as a meat grinder until he retired.

He was a jack of all trades and very talented with all his hobbies. Bill built his home, from the plumbing to the foundation. He was skilled in mechanics and could fix just about anything and loved doing it. Bill was also a woodworker and enjoyed woodburning and carving. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Jerry and Jack Pike.

Bill is survived by his wife, Tina (McKillip) Pike, whom he married on April 22, 1995, in Ashville, NY; sister, Judy (John) Fiero of Ashville, NY; brother, Gilbert “Bud” (Debbie) Pike of South Carolina, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and his beloved dog, Max.

A memorial service will be held at a later date by the family.
