Suzanne Marie Hodges

1938-2026

Suzanne Marie Hodges, 88, of Sugar Grove, PA, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at the John & Orpha Blair Hospice House.

She was born in Jamestown, NY on April 11, 1938, a daughter to the late Howard and Helen (Olsen) Onink. Suzanne was the District Magistrate for Sugar Grove and Youngsville for many years. She attended the Sugar Grove United Methodist Church and enjoyed sewing, gardening, flea markets and garage sales.

Suzanne is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Walter Hodges; her daughters, Melinda O’Donnell and her husband, Dr. John O’Donnell and Janice Davis and her husband, Mark Davis; her grandchildren, Dr. Conor O’Donnell and his wife, Bryton, Maeve O’Donnell and her husband, Carl Hummel, Liam O’Donnell, Nathan Davis and his wife, Amanda Gonzalez and Olivia Davis; her great-grandchildren, Jack and Lillian Davis; her sister in law, Joyce Onink as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Suzanne was preceded in death by her son, Gary Hodges, her brothers, Gail and Jeffrey Onink and a sister in law, Christine Onink.

A private graveside service will be held in the Wesleyan Cemetery at a later date.
