Nadine A. Nietupski

After completing college, she moved to Brevard, NC, where she began her career with Friday Staffing as a recruiter. She found great fulfillment in connecting people with the right job opportunities at the right time. She later joined Gaia Herbs, where her love of plants truly flourished–both in her work and in the lush indoor “jungle” she lovingly cultivated at home.

Nadine also found joy in the outdoors. She especially loved hiking to waterfalls and spending warm summer days gently tubing down calm rivers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Shelton. She is survived by her father, John Nietupski; her mother, Karen Palmquist; her sister, Anna Luley; her half-sister, Ava Palmquist; her step-father, Kevin Palmquist; her sister-in-law Holly Shelton; and mother-in-law Tammy Shelton. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins, niece, and nephew, and shared a particularly close bond with her cousin, Sarah Hatch.

No public services will be held, as her family will be grieving privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Nadine’s honor toward the planting of a tree in her memory.
