“Marti” Margaret Jane Grobaski

“Marti” Margaret Jane Grobaski, 78, of Randolph, passed away on Thursday (June 4, 2026) at home with her family at her side.

Marti was a graduate of Balboa High School, Balboa, Panama Canal Zone. She was a veteran of the United States Navy. In addition to being a home maker, Marti was co-owner of GNG Sheet Metal in Jamestown and had worked at Magee’s Antiques, the Randolph Children’s Home and for Care Givers of Jamestown as a Home Health Care Aide.

She was a Communicant of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Randolph, served on the Altar & Rosary Society, belonged to the former Randolph Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge and was a devoted Girl Scout Leader. Growing up she enjoyed fishing and swimming in the ocean with her father and riding horses. She was very proud of growing up in the Panama Canal Zone and would tell many stories of her adventures there. She had a passion for antiquing and deeply loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, James A. Grobaski, whom she married on June 2, 1967, two daughters; Roni Sue Young and Husband Bradley and Debbie Miller and husband Ken, all of Randolph. A step-son; James (Lourdes) Grobaski of Panama Canal Zone and their children James, Michael and Lourdes, six grandchildren; Ashley Davison, Taylor (Rachel) Miller, Derek (Delaine) Young, Marcus Miller, Samantha Grobaski and Nathaniel Grobaski, five great grandchildren; Leo Davison, Stefan Miller, Maverick Young, Cooper Miller and Easton Young, daughter-in-law, Tammy Grobaski of CO., close family friend, Todd Murray (Sylvia) of CO., Brother-in-law, Mike Grobaski of CO and Sister-in-law, Mary Blodgett (Keith) of VA.

Marti was preceded in death by her parents; Robert and Dorothy, son; Kenneth Charles Grobaski, June 9, 2015, siblings; Bob and Mahlon Knox and Dorothy Knox.

A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, (June 30, 2026) from St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Randolph. Rev. Marcin Porada will be the Celebrant. As per Marti’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A luncheon will follow the Mass at the Randolph Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 6533.
