John William Francis Fickling

An attempt to sum Jay up in a few paragraphs feels impossible. Larger than life til the very end, he had a knack for bringing people together. As a man with the greenest of thumbs, Jay found peace in nature that he carried with him as he moved through the world. In his decades as a loving partner and father he taught those around him how to spot small joys in places most don’t bother looking. While Jay is off on the next adventure he will be missed by his loving family, which happens to include the most amazing grandkids in the universe Con and Zo.

In lieu of services or memorial for Jay, his family asks that you take those minutes and call someone who is still here and tell them how much you love them.
