George Kenneth Main Sr.

1941-2026

George Kenneth Main Sr., 85, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2026, at 1:20 PM in his home with his wife of 41 years Arlene by his side. He was born on March 2, 1941, in Angelica, NY.

George was a break operator at Jamestown Metal and was always working and building something. He and his closest friend Pete Briggs and his sons Kevin and Brian would work together, doing siding and additions for several houses throughout the area.

He enjoyed his retirement by watching several grandchildren and planning the next big project. Together George and Arlene had 8 children, George had 4 children; Jody Rienard, George Main Jr, Kim Terry, Christopher Main and 4 stepchildren Brett Shafer, Brenda Albro, Bonnie Kyle and Stacy Raynor. He was blessed with 20 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. George has 1 surviving sibling, Mary Ann Main. He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
