Gene L. Coan
The funeral service for Gene L. “Geno” Coan, 94, of 2882 Garfield Road, who died May 10, 2026, will be held at 11 am Friday June 26, 2026, in Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Friends will be received in the church hall following the service.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Hopes Windows as a welder for over 40 years.
He was the husband of the late Elizabeth “Betty” Bratt Coan.
Surviving are two daughters, Diane Ostrom and Sherrie (Don) Tonkin; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Coan and siblings, James Coan, Harold “Shorty” Coan, Nancy Lee and Patricia Bennett.
Memorials may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church or Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care.
