Dorothy L. Callahan

Dorothy was born July 24, 1943 in Youngstown, OH and was raised by her parents, Robert and Emma Ursula Spalding Fricker.

Dorothy was employed at WCA for many years, ending her career as an OB tech in 2006. During that time she helped deliver many infants.

Dorothy is survived by her husband of 41 years, Lawrence Callahan, two sisters, Carol (Ron) Youngberg, Janet (Bradley) Wickmark, many nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Robert and Charles Fricker, and one sister, Patricia Fricker Hildom.

Dorothy’s family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care for their care, support and compassion.

Though Dorothy will be greatly missed, her love will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held later at the family’s convenience.
