Donald A. Riddell, 68, of Randolph, a longtime resident of Sinclairville, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pa. Don’s final gift was donating his Liver and Kidneys, so that someone less fortunate could have a fighting chance at life.
He was born August 16, 1957 in Jamestown, the son of the late William Henry Riddell Sr and Beverly R. (Bragg) Riddell. Don grew up in Sinclairville with his siblings; Dennis, Timothy, Robert and William Jr. He was a graduate of Cassadaga Central School.
Don retired as Maintenance Supervisor for the Seneca Alleghany Casino in Salamanca, and worked earlier on for Ethan Allen Furniture in Mayville, Dowcraft, Jamestown Metal Manufacturing in Jamestown and Bush Industries in Little Valley.
He was a member of the former Randolph Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 2273, where he served as pilgrim and inner and outer guard, as the Legion of the Moose. He was also a member of the Randolph American Legion Post 181 Sons.
Don loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with his grand kids and driving them around on his tractor. He liked working outside and being outdoors, riding motorcycle and camping, playing guitar and listening to country music.
He is survived by his former wife and companion of the past 15 years, Linda M. (Lingenfelter) Riddell with whom he shared a home in Randolph, two sons; Jonathan (Amber) Riddell of Ellington and Charles Riddell of Randolph, a daughter; Nichole Reynolds of Jamestown, seven grandchildren; Christopher, Owen, Noah and Gwen Reynolds, Scarlett and Dennis Riddell and Rosemary Riddell.
A Celebration of Life will be held on his birthday, from 1-5 PM (August 16th) from the Randolph Fire Hall, 72 Main Street, Randolph, NY 14772
