Dennis Kay Anderson

1959-2026

Dennis Kay Anderson, of Ashville, NY passed away in his home on June 12, 2026, at the age of 66. He was born on August 18, 1959, to the late Kay and Marie Anderson of Niobe, NY.

Dennis graduated from Panama Central High School in 1978 and then spent many years as a skilled machinist in Chautauqua County and later in Marion County, FL before retiring. An avid Buffalo Bills fan, Dennis enjoyed hunting, target shooting, and competing in NYS sporter rifle, along with spending time with his friends and family. Dennis will be missed for the presence he brought to gatherings with family and friends.

He is survived by his son, Daniel Anderson; daughter, Kristina (Kyle) Damon; grandchildren, Alivia and Tanner Damon; brother, George (Trudy); sisters, Donna (Steve), Mary (Brian), Patricia (Duane), and Judy (Jamil).

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Kay and Marie, and by his brother, Thomas.

The family will be holding a celebration of life at a later date.
