Debbie Slagle 1966-2026

She was born in Jamestown on July 2, 1966, the daughter of Theodore and Linda Waterman Lindquist, and was a graduate of Chautauqua High School and JCC.

Debbie was employed by BOCES in Ashville for over 25 years. For more than 30 years she belonged to Lakewood Baptist Church and more recently, Panama Baptist Church.

She took great joy in traveling, particularly on trips to Mt. Rushmore and to the Grand Canyon, enjoyed knitting and crocheting, and was a great cook. Most importantly Debbie had a lifelong love affair with Brittany Spaniels.

Along with both her parents of Stow, NY, surviving is her husband, Ronald L. Slagle, whom she married Aug. 27, 1988; brothers, Eric Lindquist of Stow and Theodore (Kim) Lindquist, Jr. of Dunkirk; an aunt, Anne Kenefic of Jamestown; and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death in 1965 by twin brothers, Richard and Thomas Lindquist; aunts, Kathy Waterman and Penny Smith; and an uncle, Gary Waterman.

The funeral will be held at 12 noon on Friday, June 5th in the Panama Baptist Church. The family will greet friends from 10 a.m. until noon Friday at the church for two hours prior to the service. Burial will be in Bemus Point Cemetery.
