Bradley E. Long

1939-2026

The funeral service for Bradley E. Long, 87, of 50 Gifford Avenue, formerly of Mayville, who died May 25, 2026, will be held at 11 am Saturday June 13, 2026, in the Lind Funeral Home. A private, family burial will be held at the Chautauqua Cemetery.

He worked in Human Resources at MRC/TRW. Following that he worked as Director of Human Resources at the Chautauqua County Personnel Department and also served as Town Supervisor for the Town of Chautauqua for 14 years.

Brad is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lois Kenyon Long; two children Heather Brannon and Matthew Long and two grandchildren Andrew (Barb) Brannon and Nathan Brannon.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Jonathan Long and two sisters Marilyn (David) Hamilton and Jean (Arnie) Frank.
