Ann M. Rublee

She was born on March 29, 1950 in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Roger and Pauline Anderson Mahoney.

Ann was a 1968 graduate of Frewsburg Central School and a 1970 graduate of Jamestown Community College earning her nursing degree.

For many years, she was a member of Wheeler Hill Church.

For 45 years, she worked as a registered nurse beginning at WCA Hospital, The Resource Center, and retiring in 2015 from Dr. Bambrah’s office.

Faith was an important part of Ann’s life. She enjoyed gardening and after retiring, enjoyed helping others by taking care of them at home with meals and healthcare.

Ann is survived by her husband, David M. Rublee, whom she married May 18, 1973; a son Michael (Jennifer) Rublee; two grandchildren Luke Davis and Chloe Rublee; two brothers John (Kathy) Mahoney and Tom (Denise) Mahoney; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Paula Johnson who passed away on June 15, 2025 and her brother-in-law Carl Johnson.

A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, June 25, 2026 in Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg. Pastor Deborah Westcott will officiate.

Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Frewsburg.

Friends will be received from 11:30 am to 1 pm on Thursday in the funeral home.
