Patricia A. Crandall

She was born December 26, 1946 in Olean, NY, a daughter of the late Howard and Kathryn Burgess Hazard.

Pat graduated from Southwestern High School and earned an associate degree from Jamestown Community College.

She was a member of the Busti Fireman’s Auxiliary and the Falconer Moose Club.

Prior to retirement, she worked for 32 years at the Chautauqua County Support Collection Unit. In earlier years, she worked at Ames-Big N.

Pat enjoyed camping, crocheting blankets, cherry picking and loved horses and birds. She was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and loved all of her grandchildren, and all the children and adults that came across her life.

Pat is survived by her children, John (Lisa) Crandall and Alicia (Chris) Crandall; grandchildren: Katherine (Ryan) Delahoy, Cody (Meagan) Crandall, Mikala (Rob) Farren, Sierra Dorman, Ashley Karash, Brody Clark, Tristan Clark, Lela Perdue, and also a bonus granddaughter Mallissa Nuse; great-grandchildren: Jolinn Griffin, Kayleanna Karash, Breanna Karash, Lexianna Karash, Jayden Delahoy; several great-great grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Barbara Stotler and Elaine Crandall.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Crandall whom passed away June 4, 2007, daughter, Kimberlea Dorman whom passed away May 29, 2015, and also a son, Eric Crandall whom passed away at birth on October 17, 1977.

A funeral service will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, May 10, 2026 in Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg. Pastor Jennifer Delahoy will officiate. Burial will be in Busti Cemetery. Reception will be held at the Busti Fire Department after the funeral.

Family and friends will be received from 1-3 pm on Sunday in the funeral home.
