Linda C. (Hinkle) Slade

1948-2026

Linda C. (Hinkle) Slade, 77, of Randolph, passed away at the home of her daughter Tammy on Friday, (May 29, 2026) with her family at her side.

She was born May 31, 1948 in Buffalo Children’s Hospital, the daughter of the late Dayton H. Hinkle and Elizabeth “Betty” (Ennis) Hinkle.

Linda was a 1966 graduate of Randolph Central School and retired from there in 2006 where she was a Cafeteria Aide. In addition to being a home maker, she had formerly worked at Kennedy Super Duper Coffee Shop, The Randolph Manor, and sold real Estate for Helen Eddy’s ERA Realty in Randolph.

She is survived by her children; Tammy (Robert) Finch, Todd (Maria) Slade of Randolph and Lisa (Chuck Sluga) Slade of Coldspring, four grandchildren, Sierra (Taylor) Beaver, Roxanne (Anton) Oliverio, Mandy (Brady) Morrison and Cody Slade, nine great grandchildren, father of Linda’s children; Terry B. Slade of Randolph, a brother, Lee (Janet) Hinkle of Pittsburgh and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Dayton and Betty Hinkle and a Daughter, Tracey Mae Slade (1972).

A Celebration of life will be held at 5:00 PM on June 27th at the Home of Robert & Tammy Finch, 123 Jamestown Street, Randolph. Burial was in Randolph Cemetery. As per Linda’s wishes visitation will not be observed. A private family service was held at their convenience.
