Julie Wyn Hull

Julie W. Hull

Julie Wyn Hull, 65, of Silver Creek, NY, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo, NY, following a brief illness. She was born on Sept.7, 1960, the daughter of Jerold L. “Corky” Hull and the late Lois Ann West Hull.

For a good portion of her life, Julie was a participant in the Suburban Adult Services, Inc (SASi) day hab programs. There she found meaningful work and was able to express her creative side making many friends along the way. She also enjoyed being part of Moving Miracles, a therapeutic dance program also sponsored by SASi. Julie delighted in participating in several performances throughout the Buffalo area. In addition to dancing, she enjoyed music, drawing, singing, camping, traveling, watching American Idol and The Voice. Anything Disney held a special place in her heart and visiting Disney World was one of her most cherished memories.

Julie lived her life to the fullest. Every day was her birthday and she would tell you as much. She learned early on, while eating out in restaurants, having a birthday would often earn her a free dessert. Julie’s zest for life was unmatched not just because of her joyful spirit, but because of her love for people. This love was expressed through kind words, gentle touches, and meaningful hugs with everyone she encountered.

Julie is survived by her father, Jerold L. “Corky” Hull, of Mayville; two brothers, Jerold W. (Janet) Hull of Erie, PA, Jordan W. (Betty) Hull of Mayville; a sister, Jodell W. Laumer, of Mayville; four nieces and nephews, Thomas and Jillian Douglas, and Jerold and Nicole Hull; two great nephews; her longtime caretaker, Martha Blady; and her special friends Karen and Tom as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lois Ann Hull, a brother, James W. Hull, and uncle, Albert “Pinky” Larson Jr.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to her amazing care giver Marcia Blady and the many individuals who played a role in caring for her.

A memorial service will be held at the Freay Funeral Home, 139 South Erie St., Mayville NY, on Saturday, May 9 at 1 PM. Burial will be in the Magnolia Cemetery. A celebration will be held immediately after the service at the Mayville American Legion.
