Christine Frances Anzalone-Carlson
Christine Frances Anzalone-Carlson, beloved wife, mother, Nana, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026, in Greenville memorial hospital , South Carolina, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.
Christine was born on December 27, 1962, in Jamestown, New York, to Charles Anzalone Sr. and Caroline Philbrick. She later made her way to Florida in the summer of 1998, where she built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Christine found joy in life’s simple pleasures–spending time with her family, relaxing days at the beach, and going on cruises. She had a creative spirit and loved painting and arts and crafts. Anyone who knew Christine knew she was truly a ray of sunshine, bringing warmth, kindness, and light wherever she went.
She is survived by her devoted husband, David Carlson of Woodruff, South Carolina; her loving daughters, Justine Jolly, Brandy Anzalone, and Angela (William) Montague; and her eight cherished grandchildren, Sire-Kai Jordan, Asiala Jordan, Shakiir Jordan II, Sofia Jolly, Lilyana Jolly, Royalty Augusta, Lorenzo Augusta, and Carmelo Montague.
Christine is also survived by her sister, Wendy Civiletto, and her brothers, Charles Anzalone, Michael Anzalone, Mark Anzalone, and Rick Stewart.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her strength, her creativity, and the unconditional love she gave to her family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Selma Baptist Church in Woodruff, South Carolina.
Christine’s light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who loved her.
