Donna M. Thomas, 95, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2026 at her home in Jamestown. She was the widow of William A. Thomas whom she married in 1949 and who died in 2002. A longtime resident of Kent, Ohio prior to moving to Jamestown, Donna was born in Akron, Ohio, a daughter of the late William W. Loewenguth and Ruth Kerkesner.
Donna was an avid gardener and loved her flowers and bird watching for many years. She enjoyed reading books of all genres, but especially biographies. In addition to being a mean parcheesi player, she was a tough opponent in a game of cards with euchre and rummy being her favorites. Donna spent many winters with her husband, Bill, in Hollywood Beach, Florida where she shelled every morning. She also enjoyed spending time with Wanda Blowers, a dear friend with whom she shared over 70 years of friendship.
She is survived by her daughters, Susan (Russell) Cusimano of Jamestown and Sally (Michael) McGoldrick of Wellborn, Florida; three grandchildren, Jenifer (Stacey Spicer) Cusimano of Elyria, Ohio, and Anthony (Kate) Cusimano and Lindsey (Scott) Ordines both of Jamestown; six great-grandchildren: Giana and Alyssa Cusimano and Aurora, Izzibella, Olivia, and Ryan Ordines; four sisters: Joyce Chionchio, Judy Olivo, Georgia Demorest, and Sharon Mileski; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Pauline Seymour.
A private family service will be held in the Lind Funeral Home.
