Dawn Marie Perry

She was born April 27, 1947, to the late Daniel Hanley and the late Marie Tabone Miley.

Dawn was a 1966 graduate of Jamestown High School and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Buffalo. She spent 35 years in various aspects of nursing and health care and loved every minute of it.

She was a past member of the Allen Park Women’s Club and the Zonta Club of Jamestown.

Dawn was preceded in death by her mother, Marie Tabone Miley who died October 7, 2011, and her younger brother, Michael J. Miley who died March 4, 2011.

She is survived by her daughters, Marlo Perry and Taylor Clark; three grandchildren, Johnny DeAngelo, Cody Clark, Maddie Clark; her brother, Bill Miley (Lorraine) and her sister Cynthia Evans (David). She is also survived by her two nephews, Billy Miley (Katie), Philip Miley (Michelle) and six great nieces and nephews, Bennett, Max, Gavin, Kenzie ,Parker and Andi, whom she loved as her own grandchildren, as well as her lifelong friend of 63 years, Barbara O’Connor Paris whom she loved as a sister.

Dawn’s sweet dog, Molly, has been adopted to a loving home in Jamestown. Dawn and Molly will be reunited upon Molly’s crossing of the Rainbow Bridge.

Dawn was very much looking forward to reuniting with her Nana, Mother and little brother Michael. There is no doubt they greeted her into their loving arms.

Dawn’s family would like to extend deep gratitude to her caregivers, Natalie and Katie Samuelson, who provided much comfort and made Dawn laugh in her final days.

Dawn’s celebration of life will be an intimate family gathering later this summer.
