Darlene M. Kelsey

Darlene M. Kelsey, 75, of Jamestown, formerly of Falconer passed away Friday, May 8, 2026, in her home surrounded by her family and under the care of hospice.

A lifelong area resident she was born September 29, 1950 in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Warren and Dorothy Myers Lundmark.

Darlene was a graduate of Jamestown High School and prior to retirement she was employed at Jamestown Community College in the financial aid office and helped many students over the years.

She was a member of the Henry Mosher Post 638, American Legion Auxiliary, and served as president of the auxiliary for a period of time. She loved her family, especially her grandkids and great-grandbabies more than anything else. She enjoyed shopping online for everyone. You never knew when you would get a package from her. She liked her trips to the casino for bingo and slots with friends.

Surviving is her husband, Richard J. Kelsey whom she married October 9, 1993; two daughters: Trisha Hopkins (Robert Watson) of W.E. Jamestown, Christine (Tim) Parinella of Falconer; two step sons: Jim (Pam) Kelsey of Busti, Matt Kelsey of Plattsburg, NY; six grandchildren: Stephanie Crick of Jamestown, Sergeant Brandon Crick, US Army, Luke Kelsey of Jamestown, Payshuns Watson of W.E. Jamestown, Zoey Kennedy of Jamestown, Princeton Watson of W.E. Jamestown; two great grandchildren: Airianna Confer and Alexander Confer; a brother Warren Lundmark; and many extended family that she loved dearly.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Paula Lundmark.

A celebration of Darlene’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Friday May 15, 2026, at the Henry Mosher Post 638, American Legion, 132 W. Main St., Falconer
