Brian A. Raines

A lifelong area resident, he was born December 11, 1965, in Jamestown, a son of the late Donald and Rose Fitzella Raines.

A 1983 graduate of Maple Grove High School, he was employed for many years by Jamestown Mattress and later by the Resource Center.

Brian was a former member of the Bemus Point Volunteer Fire Department. He had a kind soul and a big heart. He was an avid fan of Nascar and the Buffalo Bills.

Surviving are brother, Jeffrey (Susan) Raines of Jamestown; two sisters, Lynn (David) Weaver of Harrisburg, NC and Lori (Steve) Pullan of Jamestown; nieces and nephews, Christopher (Rachel) Weaver, Jennifer (Jason) Wade, Matthew Raines and Lindsay (Aubrey) Russell and several great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1 pm Friday in the Lind Funeral Home where friends will be received for one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bemus Point Volunteer Fire Department.
