Anna M. Walker

Anna M. “Annie” Walker, 94, of Frewsburg, formerly of Kennedy passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2026, in her son’s home where she resided for the past five years.
Annie was born July 3, 1931, in Warren, PA, the daughter of the late Anthony and Theresa (Muscaro) Siliano. She was a 1949 graduate of Warren High School. Following her passion for helping others, she graduated from the St. Vincent’s Hospital School of Nursing in 1952, earning her degree as a Registered Nurse.
Annie dedicated an incredible 59 years to the nursing and medical profession, working until her retirement at the age of 83. She was employed by WCA Hospital for 44 years, where she was instrumental in starting the Oncology Outpatient Department. She was also proud to be a founding member of the WCA Breast Cancer Support Group. Following her retirement from WCA, Annie continued her service at Heritage Ministries, working as a Supervising Registered Nurse for 15 years. She will always be remembered for her profound dedication to the nursing profession, her kindhearted empathy toward her patients, and her deep respect for the doctors and staff she worked alongside.
Above all, Annie cherished time spent with her loving family. She also had a deep love for animals and adored her faithful dogs: Bella, Scrubby, and Gigi.
Surviving are two sons: David J. (Laurie) Walker, Michael B. (Johnna) Walker all of Frewsburg; seven grandchildren: Jason Calabrese, Lisa (Chris) Luciano, Nicole Walker, David J. Walker Jr., Juliana (Bart) Walker, Michael J. (Jonathan) Walker, Mallory (Dr. Ever) Hernandez; seven great grandchildren: Nathan Luciano, London Halper, Natalia Frary, Grace Frary, Natalia Luciano, Richard Calabrese, Austin Calabrese; and her sister, Virginia Barone of Warren, PA, and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David G. Walker whom she married April 25, 1953, who died Nov. 11, 2003; a daughter, Linda Calabrese on Nov. 29, 2024; a sister, Minnie Pasquino; and two brothers, Leonard and Joseph Siliano.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2026 in the Falconer Funeral Home. Rev. Phil Roushey pastor of Zion Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be in Myrtle Cemetery, Clarks Coners, Kennedy.
