Alice Mae Larrow Edwards

Alice Mae Larrow Edwards, 95, of Sherman, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at UPMC Hamot Hospital in Erie, PA. She was born June 15, 1930, in Summerdale, NY, the daughter of the late Roy and Anna Webster Larrow.

Alice had attended Sherman Central School. She enjoyed going to Florida during the winters, helping with chores on the farm, and time with family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by three children, Connie Fortune of Sherman, Kay (Jerry) Paul of Sherman, and Steven (Karen) Persons of North Clymer, a sister, Arlene Dudley, seven grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Leonard “Bud” Persons, her second husband, Paul Edwards, her companion, Ernie Tewinkle, a step-daughter, Dixie Crawford, a stepson, David Edwards, a son-in-law, Frederick Fortune, a brother, Allen “Shad” Larrow, and two grandsons, Lee Persons and James Cady.

At Alice’s wishes there will be no public services held. A private celebration of life and graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in the Clymer Center Cemetery.
