Sue A. Babcock

A native of Jamestown, she was born Dec. 28, 1955, a daughter of the late Merritt and Lois Yoxtheimer Babcock.

Following graduation from Jamestown High School in 1973, she went on to earn a degree from Jamestown Community College.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Southern Tier Environments for Living (STEL) as a rehabilitation counselor.

Sue enjoyed gardening, sewing, knitting, crocheting and listening to music.

Surviving are three children, Josh (Melissa) Garverick of Akron, NY, Andy Garverick (Nicky Miller) of Jamestown and Elizabeth (Adam) Fredette of McKee, KY; a granddaughter, Audrey Garverick of Akron, NY and siblings, Gracie White and Dave (Debbie) Babcock both of Jamestown.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her fiance, Jim Brown.

In keeping with her wishes, no funeral service or visitation will be observed.
