A celebration of life for Robert H. Erickson, 92,of Jamestown, who was called home to the Lordon Feb. 16, 2026, while surrounded by his family,will be held on April 18.
A private family gathering will take place at the cemetery at 3 PM. Following that, the family invites all relatives and friends to join them at the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel from 5:30 to 7:30 PM to share memories, along with hors d’oeuvres and cocktails.
Robert Erickson was a man who deeply cared about others and was known for his honesty, nonjudgmental nature, and kind spirit. His faith in God, along with his devotion to his wife and family, meant everything to him. He also had a wonderful sense of humor and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Joanne (Bellavia) Erickson; his children, Dr. Robert (Dr. Jennifer) Erickson, Tari Geisler, Shari (Matthew) Shearing, and Marci Erickson; and his grandchildren, Robbie (Mary Patricia) Erickson, Dr. David (Dr. Latrice) Erickson, Molly (Christopher) Fierle, Betsy (Andrew) Mikac, Dr. Thomas (Jayne) Geisler, John (Ashley) Geisler, Matthew (Jordan) Shearing, and Stacie (Jeff) Day. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Cori Shearing. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
