Richard William Kelly Sr.

Richard was born July 27, 1942, in Silver Creek, New York, son of the late George and Eleonora (Schleef) Kelly.

He was educated in Silver Creek, NY and received a degree in accounting from Jamestown Business College. Richard was employed by Blackstone, Bush Industries, and Bon-Ton in Jamestown.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie L. Trusler Kelly, whom he married April 7, 1993, who died Dec. 24, 2021; his sister, Virginia (Kelly) Gutekunst, and, brother, George Kelly, Jr.

Survivors include his son, Richard (Patty) Kelly, Jr. of Warren, PA; step-grandchildren, Kayla Whitling and Michael Whitling; sister-in-law, Susan (Robert) Freeberg of Jamestown; Brother-In-Law, Robert Trusler of Jamestown; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces, including beloved great niece, Dana Beverly, and nephews.

His Committal Service will be held at 11am Wednesday, April 8, 2026 in the Falconer Funeral Home. Pastor Brad Hofert of Family Church, Jamestown will officiate. Burial will be in Levant Cemetery.
