Michael G. Frink
It is with great sadness that the family of Michael G. Frink announces his passing on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at the Warren Manor in Warren, Pa., the result of suffering a traumatic injury in January 2025.
Born Aug. 2, 1951, Mike was the son of the late Donald and Phyllis Colvin Frink. He is survived by his sister, Donnalee (Timothy) Shields; brother, Tim (Connie) Frink; and an uncle, Neil Colvin; as well as a niece and several nephews.
Mike will be greatly missed by his loving caregiver, Patricia Frink; his children, Patrick Frink, Sheri Trout and Scott (Allison) Craker; grandchildren, Xander and Coltin Frink, Cassidy Birt, Caylie Birt and Spencer (Aurora) Trout; as well as great-grandchildren, Megan, Liam, Braxton, Milo and Maelee.
A graduate of Randolph Central School, Class of 1969, Mike entered the United States Army in 1970, proudly serving in the 82nd Airborne Division during the Vietnam Era. He worked at Metallic Ladder in Randolph where he delivered and installed dock equipment. He also worked at the Randolph Foundry, making castings for Metallic Ladder’s docks and ladders.
He loved keeping busy working on his parent’s farm on Coldspring Street, whether it was doing field work, milking cows or simply drinking Pepsi at their kitchen table. Additionally, some of his happiest moments were made on “the river” where he spent many hours boating and teaching his children to waterski.
Mike was a 50-plus-year member of the Randolph Lodge No. 359 Free and Accepted Masons and a member of the Randolph American Legion Post 181. He also celebrated 38 years as a grateful member of AA, where he found purpose in helping others, serving as a sponsor and as a source of encouragement to many.
As per Mike’s request, no funeral service will be held. A private, family graveside inurnment will be held at a later date.
