Judith A. Smith
Judith A Keefer Smith, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Deane Hill Place Assisted Living, in Knoxville, TN. She grew up in the Oil City, PA area until she took a teaching job at Persell School in Jamestown, NY and then resided in Chandlers Valley, PA.
Judy was born on Aug. 16, 1931, in Oil City, PA to Clarence & Dorothy Keefer.
She married Arthur Smith on Feb. 4, 1978. Art and Judy owned the Fairmont Motel in Jamestown, NY until retiring to Titusville, Florida.
She graduated from Oil City High School in 1949 and Clarion University.
Judy enjoyed reading, crocheting, traveling, drawing and painting. She was a licensed ham radio operator.
She is survived by her sons, Michael Driscoll (Norma) -Sugar Grove, PA and Richard Driscoll (Jeanne) – Knoxville, TN; stepdaughter, Sharon (Ray) Zapora – Cleveland, Ohio; grandsons: Mike Driscoll, Chad Driscoll, Eric Driscoll, Paul Sepulveda and Chris Sepulveda; granddaughters: Nicole Egger and Shannan Knisley; step-granddaughter, Chrissy White. Also, several great-grandchildren and a great-great grandson.
She is proceeded in death by her father, Clarence Keefer and mother, Dorothy Keefer; husband, Arthur Smith; daughter, Sondra Driscoll; and great-grandson, Ryan Egger.
She will be placed to rest in the Lamey Cemetery in Oil City, PA with her husband Arthur Smith. There will be no funeral services.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to a charity of their choice.
