Jane Ann (Skeeter) Brown Shields

She was born July 31, 1962, in Jamestown, New York, the daughter of the late LeRoy and Betty Brown.

She was a graduate of Maple Grove Jr/Sr High School, Bemus Point, New York. She proudly served in the United States Army and she was honorably discharged. Jane was a stay-at-home mother and grandmother in her later years. She enjoyed penny shopping and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed horseback riding when she visited her sister, Stacey, in New York.

She is survived by her son, Jason (Christina) Shields; grandchildren, Christopher and Madison of Hilliard, Ohio; four siblings, Ruby Thorp, Debra Brown, Linda Courson and Stacey Caldwell; two nieces, Dawn (Mark) Schultz and Rosanna (Bryce) Hatfield; nephew, Shaun (Juliann) Brown, along with several great and great-great-nieces and nephews all of New York.

Jane was preceded in death by a daughter, Angel; brother, LeRoy Brown Jr.; sister, Rose Ann Brown; and great-nephew, Anthony Lackner.

There will be no visitation observed. A private celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at the Sunset Hill Cemetery in New York.
