Gail C. Dallas
Gail C. Dallas, 85, of Falconer passed away Sunday, March 30, 2026, in the Star Hospice House, Lakewood.
A lifelong area resident he was born Feb. 8, 1941 in Jamestown, the son of the late Carroll L. and Violet Johnson Dallas.
Gail attended Falconer High School and in earlier years was employed by Twin Auto in Frewsburg. He then, owned, and operated G & M Auto Repair in Ashville, and prior to retirement, was employed by Larson Metal Manufacturing.
Gail enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, and traveling. He will be remembered as a, “Master of all trades.” If Gail could not fix it, no one could.
Surviving is his wife, Nancy P. Carr Dallas of 62 years, whom he married June 22, 1963 in Open Meadows Church; seven children: Julie (Duane) Mills of Warren, PA; Lisa (Steve) Linamen of Bemus Point; Todd Dallas of Jamestown; Carol (Scott) Simmes of Ashville; Steven Dallas of Kennedy; Edward Dallas of Panama; Paula Wesolowski of Malvern, PA; his adoptive daughter, Suzanne (Roger) Overend of Falconer, numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Murray A. Dallas; sister, Marcia Carlson; and his In-Laws, LeVern and Pauletta Carr.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Rev. Melody Overend of Gerry Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Allen Cemetery.
Friends will be received by the family from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
