Dorothy M. Post

She was born Oct. 25,1936 in Erie, PA to her late parents, Evan and Marion (Newell) Crump.

Dorothy married Claire Post May 5, 1956, and they were together for 56 years until his passing in 2012.

Dorothy was a long time employee of Chautauqua Erie Telephone Company as a data processor, retiring in 1992.

She enjoyed gardening, bowling, card clubs, and spending time with her family especially watching her grand and great grandkids sporting events.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Vern (Sue) Post, Carol (Daniel) Greco, Gail (Larry) Jackson and Marie (Eric) Edwards, her grandchildren: Vern Jr.(Janelle), Andrew (Loraine), Amy, Dan (Heather), Michelle (Glenn), Stephanie (Cory), Nathan (Gennilee), Gregory (Jenna), Rachael (Daryn) and Derek (Brittany), 18 great-grandchildren, her siblings, Howard Crump and Lois (James) Lindell also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held in a couple weeks; a date and time will be announced by the funeral home.
