Deborah L. Martin

Born on Dec. 11, 1953, in Jamestown, New York was the beloved daughter of the late Harold W. Martin and Joanne L. Martin.

Deborah dedicated many years to her career in nursing, serving patients and families at Warren General Hospital and Warren State Hospital. Her work reflected her deep commitment to helping those in needs and she was respected by colleagues and appreciated by the many lives she touched throughout her career.

She is survived by her longtime partner, Robert Kissinger; her siblings, Rindy (Lanny) Barmore of Little River, SC, Steven (Denise) Martin of Binghamton, New York, and Michael Martin of Frewsburg, New York; as well her nieces, Jamie Mathews, Kristy Hayes, and Lisa Castaneda; and her nephews, Joseph Martin and Erik Barmore.

Deborah spent much of her life in Warren and Frewsburg where she remained close to roots, family and friends. Her family is deeply grateful for the love, support and friendship of Rick and Sue Culver who were Deborah’s neighbors in Frewsburg for many years.

In keeping with Deborah’s wishes, private services will be held by the family at their convenience.

Memorial donations in Deborah’s name may be made to the Frewsburg Volunteer Department, 88 Main St., Frewsburg, NY 14738, in recognition of their services to the community and our family.
