Christine (Chris) K Southwick

Chris was born on December 22, 1954, in Bradford, Pa. She was a life long resident of Randolph, she graduated from Randolph Central School in 1973. She married her soul mate Reagan (Rick) Southwick on June 8, 1973.

Chris was previously employed by The Resource Center where she retired in 2021, along with Peoples Pizza in Randolph, and Master Carvers in Jamestown.

Chris (Ma) was loved and loved everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her, she loved cooking for and feeding an army. Her grandchildren were her life. She loved going on shopping trips and playing monopoly Go. Summertime family bbq’s were also among her favorite things.

Surviving is her loving husband Rick Southwick of Randolph, 3 daughters; Kathryn (Troy) Nomes of Celeron, Ny, Jenifer (Scott) Davis of Enfield, CT, and Tyfeny (Josh) Granger of Randolph. Siblings Margie, Larry, Lisa, and Donnie. Brother in law Don and sister in law Fern. Grandchildren Brittany, Brandon, TJ, Bryan, Colin, Joey, Kelly, Jessica, Morgan, Katlynn, Hailey, and Logan. And 5 great grandchildren. And Buddy the family dog.

She was preceded in death by her mother Lynnette Bowen and father Lawrence Shugars, stepfather Richard Bowen, and waiting for her embrace, her granddaughter Megan Davis and grandson Robert Dubuc.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 4-6 PM Tuesday, (April 21, 2026) from the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church Street, Randolph, NY 14772.

The Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 12 Noon, with the Rev. Al Meyers officiating. Burial will be private in the East Randolph Cemetery.
