Charlene R. Latona

Born April 8, 1968 in Cherry Point, North Carolina to Robert W. LaShure and Bonnie (Burns) Warren. She graduated in 1986 from Daviess County High School in Owensboro, Kentucky and on May 20, 1989 she married Steven Latona at Pilgrim Memorial UCC, Jamestown, NY.

She worked at SKF Aeroengine, Falconer, NY, until August 2021, leaving due to illness. Previously worked for CVS Pharmacy when located on Foote Ave., Jamestown, NY.

She was a member of UAW Local 338.

Charlene is survived by her husband, Steven; her son, John (Eric) Mack; granddaughter, Karmyn Kahlo Mack, mother, Bonnie of Lewisburg, KY, brother, Mark Warren, Bowling Green, KY; and his children, Matthew and Julia Warren; brother, Robert (Tonya) LaShure of Daphne, AL, and his daughter, Ava Rakers-LaShure; sister, Marisa (Jonathan) Wizeman of Canisteo, NY. Also survived by many brother and sister in-laws, and nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by her father, Robert, step-mother, Mary Ann Ausborn LaShure, and step-father, Kenneth M. Warren.

Charlene’s family and friends will miss her terribly. She could light up the room with her laughter and her beautiful smile.

There will be no visitations. A private memorial service will be held for family and friends.

The family would like to extend a very heartfelt thank you to the 4th floor nursing staff at UPMC Chautauqua for the wonderful care provided to Charlene and for their thoughtfulness, compassion and support given to the family during this difficult time.
