Carl J. Pillittieri, 83, of Jamestown passed away on March 27, 2026. He was born on Nov. 30, 1942 in Jamestown, NY a son of Joseph and Rita (Genco) Pillittieri.

His first job was working at his uncle’s car wash. Then he worked at Premium Tool and Die and later started his own snow plowing and garbage pickup business. Then he went on to own several apartment buildings in the Jamestown area.
Carl loved animals (his three cats), Sci-Fi, Rock & Roll, Hot Rods and classic cars (favoring Mustangs and Cobras) and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan. It was not uncommon to see him at all the local car shows, sometimes singing and dancing to the music. Carl proudly special ordered (and patiently waited for) a 1965 Hi-Performance ‘K’ car, when Mustangs 1st came out. He later owned other Mustangs, a GT-40 and a 1955 Ford Victoria Convertible among other classics.
Arrangements are taken care of by Hubert Funeral Home.
Carl will be buried at the Holy Cross Cemetery in the Pillittieri family plot. To honor his wishes, there are no events planned.
