Audrey Johnson Hoyt

Audrey was born on Feb. 20, 1924 to Kathryn (Keller) and Harold William Johnson Sr. She was a 1942 graduate of JHS and married Lewis M. Hoyt on April 1, 1944.

Audrey worked as a secretary in area businesses and retired from First National Bank. She loved to paint, sew, do crafts, ceramics, and gardening which she passed onto her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Audrey is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Hoyt Isaacson of Jamestown and her son, Michael L. Hoyt of Cincinnatti, Ohio. Also, six grandchildren, Karen Isaacon, Suzanne VanDuyne, James Isaacson Jr., Micheal Hoyt, Christopher Hoyt and Kate Kamel. She has 12 great-grandchildren: Caitlin, Amanda, Rebecca, Jason, Jacqi, Brennan, Rosi, Connor, Ella, Chase, Audrey and Noah. Also a nephew, Randy “Deke” Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, William (Bill) Johnson, nieces, nephews, and former husband, Lewis Hoyt.

A Burial ceremony will be held in Sunset Hill Cemetery at a later date.
