Ransford C. “Ratz” Marshall

He was born on Sept. 1, 1936 in Beccaria, PA, a son of the late Ransford J. and Marie Barrelle Marshall.

He was a 1954 graduate of Madera High School.

For many years, he was a communicant of the former Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Frewsburg.

Prior to retirement, he was employed at Marlin Rockwell/ SKF for 45 years.

Ratz was an avid golfer and enjoyed vacations with his wife Rose.

Ratz is survived by his wife of 66 years, Rose J. Weitoish Marshall, whom he married Aug. 17, 1959; two sons, John Ransford (Sheila) Marshall of Colorado Springs, CO and Robert James Marshall of Jamestown; his sister, Patricia “Patsy” Srock; six grandchildren: John Ransford Marshall, Jr., Valerie (Rocky) Munoz, Felicia Marshall, Robert (Isabella) Marshall, Jr., Matthew Marshall, Jacob (Keyah) Marshall; and four great-grandchildren: Ranon Munoz, Cora Munoz, Audrey Munoz, Allyson Marshall.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
