Pamela S. Parla

Pamela S. Parla, 63, of Jamestown, died Friday March 13, 2026, in Lake Pointe Rehab and Nursing Center.

A Jamestown resident all her life, she was born May 11, 1962, one of four daughters born to Barbara Barrelle Spetz and the late Weldon “Archie” Spetz.

A 1980 graduate of Jamestown High School, she was employed by Hopes Windows as a secretary and later by Tops Markets at the Foote Avenue location.

She was a member of Zion Covenant Church where she enjoyed being a greeter. She volunteered several years for the Salvation Army’s annual Red Kettle campaign and also at the National Comedy Center.

Surviving besides her mother of Jamestown is her husband of 23 years Peter Parla; sisters, Debra Rubin of Arlington, VA and Krista (Shay) Pratt of Alexandria, VA and Aunt, Jan Barrelle.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed.
