James Peterson Jr.

He graduated from Sherman Central Schools.

Jim spent over 30 years at Welch’s where he held many different positions. He loved riding his Harley on the scenic roads throughout Chautauqua County. He loved taking care of his garden and his ponds, where he could tell you every type of fish in each pond. He also built his own cabin, loved hunting, fishing, and caring for his dogs and everyone else’s.

Jim is survived by his brothers, Steven, Randy, Brian(Dianna) Peterson and Scott Meekins, his son, Bradley(Brooke) Peterson; a step daughter, Sundee(Zak) Becker Rosage, his grandchildren, Neil Johnson and Alex Rosage; his great-grandchildren, Grace and Scarlett Johnson, and Renna Rosage; his nieces and nephews, Brandy Golden and family, Natasha Sundquist and family, Amber Fisher and Family and Brandon Peterson and family, and Brett, Bryce, and Brittany Peterson and also a dear friend Sparkles that he spent many hours on the phone together.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Page Peterson, his mother, Beverly Shaka, his father, James Peterson, his stepfather, Vangel Shaka, his stepmother, Audrey Peterson and a sister-in-law, Barbara Maring.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
