Duane E. Ulrich

1947-2026

Duane E. Ulrich, 78, of Conewango Valley passed away Friday, Feb. 27, 2026 in UPMC Chautauqua.

He was born May 11, 1947 in Silver Creek, NY, the son of the late Dana and Marie Schework Ulrich.

He had owned and operated Ulrich Appliances for several years.

Surviving is his companion, Shirley Gjerdrum of Conewango Valley; a daughter, Kimberly (Mike) Zink of Amherst, NY; a grandson, Tyler Griffin of Grand Island; a step-son, Daniel Gjerdrum of Conewango Valley.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers: Allen, Bruce, and Roger Ulrich; a nephew, James Ulrich and two nieces, Dana and Lindsey Ulrich.

As per Duane’s wishes, no funeral service or visitation will be observed.
